Kevin Hamilton aka DJ 7Duece was born and raised in St. Louis (University City), MO., I grew up listening to oldies and hanging out with my brother and his friends.   I watched DJ CD do his thing and saw how he was able to “Move The Crowd” and developed a true passion for the art of DJ’ing. So in the late 80’s I bought my very first “Radio Shack” 4-channel mixer and pieced the rest together to throw gigs (using house speakers and luggin’ milk crates around).  I joined the US Navy in 1992 and got my first re-enlistment bonus (1996) and bought my own equipment from “Upstairs Records” (Brooklyn or the Bronx) (First pair of Technic 12’s) and started networking and DJ’ing in Virginia (7 Cities) and on Navy ships while Deployed. The Captain on my last ship that I was on (USS Mahan DDG-72) found out that I DJ’d and asked if I could bring my equipment on a NATO deployment and play for the dignitaries while they hosted. I agreed and the next thing you know the crew changed my name from DJ Crossfader to DJ 7Duece (72) which happens to be the HULL number on the side of the ship. I have since retired from the Navy after 20 years of service and now dedicating a lot of my time to my passion……DJ’ing and Moving the Crowd. I specialize in ALL GENRES of music.

With years of experience under my belt, you won’t find a more qualified, dignified or electrified person to throw down the music for your special event. My rates are reasonable, my pants are pressed, and I’m waiting for you to hire me and my team.
